Riding the Blue Ridge Parkway

Thursday, Orlando, FL to Maggie Valley, NC

The ride from Orlando to Maggie Valley was long, hot, tiring and utterly worth every minute. Once I arrived in Maggie Valley, I found my way to the Valley Inn, right on Rt. 19 just as you enter town. The room was nice, clean and well maintained. And for $29 (off season), you really can't complain. The motel sits right on the creek and the sound of the gurgling water did wonders for my sleep.

Just wonderful!!
